James Blake

 

In only a year on the musical scene, James Blake already released 4 EPs on emerging record labels such as Hemlock Recordings or Hessle Audio as well as on the mythical R&S Records on which Aphex Twin signed his first singles in 1992. As a former member of Mount Kimble, James Blake is naturally evolving on the dustup scene, but his music mixes Electronica, Ambient and Soul. His duet self-titled album was released on February 7, 2011.

The famous New Jack singer, composer and producer, Raphael Saadiq - who began his career as a member of the trio Tony! Toni! Toné! - came to the Montreux Jazz Festival to perform his new album Stone Rolin' released at the beginning of 2011.

Trombone Shorty

 

Multi-instrumentalist, Trombone Shorty is the kind of player who comes along maybe once in a generation. His new album, Backatown is a mix of rock, funk, jazz, hip-hop and soul. He had to create his own name to describe his signature sound: Supafunkrock!
